More than a canvas behind your page

An effect is the start. These are the parts that decide where a background runs, how readable your content stays on top of it, and what each visitor actually gets.

Section backgrounds

Select any Group or Cover block and switch on Animated background. Only that section is animated, and it is independent of the site-wide background. Each section picks its own look, overlay and phone behaviour.

Readability overlay

A color and a strength, laid over the effect and under your content. Tell the plugin whether the text on top is light or dark and it picks the overlay color for you.

Text that has to stay readable

Slide the overlay to zero and this paragraph has to fight the particles behind it.

You decide what phones get

WebGL costs battery on a small device, so every background has an On phones setting. Try the four choices.

On a phone

The same animation desktop visitors get.

Visitors who ask for reduced motion, use Save-Data, or have no WebGL always get the still image.

Pro

Layered backgrounds and blend modes

Pro runs several backgrounds at once. Each layer has its own opacity, stacking order and blend mode, so two effects combine into something neither does alone.

Different backgrounds on different pages

Give each background its own rule for where it shows, plus pages to leave out. Or point it at any element on the page with a CSS selector — useful for sections built in Elementor, Bricks or another builder.

Plus an “Except on” list, and a CSS selector target (up to 6 matching elements per page, to stay inside the browser’s WebGL limit).
